All are expected to speak in English while at the college campus.
The students are expected to be regular and punctual in attending classes from 9.00 am to 4:30.
The college has the authority to reschedule the classes. In case of emergency, a student arriving late to attend class without any bonafide reason beyond 5 minutes will lose the attendance for that particular session. Students are to be present in the class at 9.00 am sharp for the class work. Latecomers will have to meet the Batch Coordinator before attending the class, if it is unauthorized.
Students are permitted to take a maximum of 50 session / 10 days leave in a semester.
No student will enter or leave the classroom when the session is on without the permission of the teacher concerned.
Students should not leave classrooms during any hour without permission. They are prohibited from going out of the college premises during college hours. Students are not allowed to meet the Staff members, Batch Coordinator, Principal during class work. They have to meet the authorities during intervals and stipulated time.
Students are expected to spend their free hours in the Library. They should not loiter in the verandahs or crowd at the gate or in and around the office.
The students must participate in all programs arranged by the college towards self-development. This includes seminars, presentations, role plays, video shoots, club activities, programs conducted by guests from outside the campus etc.
Any act of indiscipline, insubordination or misbehavior by any student will attract disciplinary action.
Irregular attendance, insubordination to teachers and staff, habitual neglect of studies, indifference to school work, obscenity in word or act will be deemed as sufficient reason for suspension of a student.
Students are required to keep the campus premises and toilets hygienic and well laid out as expected of future managers and global citizens.
Consumption or possession of alcohol/drugs and being under their influence while on campus or at functions is prohibited.
Ragging – It is strictly prohibited in the campus premises including hostels (Govt. Notification No. 16992 / Leg. Bl /98/Law dated 24.06.1998).
Students are expected to be self-disciplined when they pursue a professional course like MBA. All students must be well-behaved and mannered in the campus and hostels. They are expected to regard each other with due respect and engage in individual/group assignments and activities. No discrimination is allowed in the name of gender, religion, caste, creed, financial status or any aspect and strict action will be taken against violators. The college treats the student community as an entity and all are equal.
Students are to be punctual in attending classes and value-added programmes of KBS, co-curricular and extra-curricular, to develop a good career and holistic transformation into a professional.
Students are instructed to read the course plan provided by faculty members and strictly adhere to all instructions. No excuses will be entertained later.
All assignments and group activities are to be completed within the stipulated time. Late submissions will not be accepted except for genuine reasons. The assignments will be valued and returned by Faculty Members within 10 days except for extraordinary situations.
The properties of the college are to be handled with utmost care. Defacing the furniture, scribbling, nailing or any other unwanted aspects will be penalized individually or collectively depending on the gravity of the loss or damage caused.
Campus politics is strictly banned in the college. No strikes or demonstrations will be allowed and students are expected to follow the grievance-handling procedure for addressing their concerns.
Students are not allowed to wander through the campus. They are instructed to remain in the classroom or library.
Students are allowed to meet visitors only through Faculty Mentor / Batch Coordinator during class work.
All students must be present on the campus during working hours. In case of any emergency, students should take permission from the Principal to leave the campus. After working hours, no student is allowed to remain on campus.

Students are expected to meet the faculty mentors for any clarification related to academic and non-academic matters about the course.
The principal has the authority to take appropriate disciplinary action in case of unauthorized absence or violations of any rules and regulations.
No matter for publication in newspapers, magazines or journals can be given in the name of the college without the permission of the Principal.
The group E-mail (through Google Group Service) for students is meant for Faculty-Student communication. All learning materials, instructions and notifications will be attached in group mail. Only the Class Committee Members are allowed to send group E-mail.
A minimum of 75% attendance of total working days in a semester is mandatory to appear in the University examinations as per M.G. University Regulations 2019. Attendance will be marked at the beginning of each session by the concerned faculty member. Latecomers will be marked absent and no excuses in this regard will be entertained.
The percentage of attendance will be notified during the first week of every month. The students must ensure they do not fall below the required minimum.
No condonation is allowed for MBA courses as per University norms.
Absence for any reason (including authorized leave) will not be treated as present except for duty leave granted by the college.
Attendance is compulsory for all training and development programmes, including industrial visits, industry interactions, celebrations, and other department-organized events.
Students are required to apply for leave in advance in the prescribed format given in this handbook.
In case of emergency or sudden illness, students may inform leave by phone to the Faculty Mentor. However, they must submit the leave form upon return before attending sessions.
For medical leave, a certificate from a registered doctor must be attached.
Leave will be approved by the Faculty Mentor / Batch Coordinator. For leave beyond three days, approval must be obtained from the Principal.
